Description

This module is a mixture of hands-on practical laboratory work, software problem solving and professional studies. There are regular lectures to brief students on laboratories and to discuss professional issues, including talks given by visitors from the engineering industry. The practical laboratory sessions support the teaching in other modules in the year. Some assessments are individual, and some are group assessments: group work features in the practical laboratory work and in some projects related to professional issues.
